This is one of our state-of-the-art single-ended integrated amplifiers, using the most common 300B medium power tube as the output section. High grade silicon-steel 15W single-ended output transformer is used to ensure the highest sonic quality. This amplifier can drive speakers with efficiency above 88db/W to satisfy loudness level in a reasonable size room.
Multiple output tapping is featured for correct impedance matching to almost any speaker. 16ohm speakers can also use the 8 ohm output setting for increased performance.
The 300B has a very sweet and transparent characteristic which makes it very suitable for classical music, vocal, and jazz reproduction.

From Bill
Well, I received the integrated amp a couple of days ago (at night), and all is working out just fine. I've been running the amp, and from the first listen I heard an improvement in the sound. A lot more detail than I've heard before. All I can say is; GOOD JOB! The amp looks good (wife acceptance factor) and sounds good. I'm real happy.
Oh, I've been listening with my AR3a's and I'm getting good base! I have no problems with that match. And it's going to get better-I'm using a general Electro Harmonix 300B to break in the amp. Once I get familiar with the amp, I'm going to start rolling some better tubes in it. For the 866A, the 6SL7, the 6SN7, and the 300B;
Oh, and before I forget, your owners manual is SUPERB! Probably one of the best manuals I've ever seen. I like how you list the different tube types. I figure if you keep sending out this manual (& like-others to go with your other gear), you may win an award! I'd give you the "Gold Star Award".
