This is a unity-gain buffer amplifier with a balanced output stage. It will convert any CD player or DAC into a balanced output tube DAC / CD player (RCA output also available). With this buffer, the output impedance of any high impedance output will be converted into a lowered output impedance, greatly enhancing the output driving capability .The signal will become more transparent, airy and dynamic for a much more natural sound.

Since this model uses large size tubes, the feeling of airiness and warmth is beyond description. With this model's balanced output, you can enjoy the best dynamic performance of fully balanced amplification. This unit can also be added to the output of a conventional RCA output pre-amplifier, in order to convert your pre-amp into a truly balanced output device.

This buffer can even drive a headphone output, for a small fee of c$80, you can convert this buffer into a headphone amplifier with about 100mW of output power

Level 1 upgrade : (+ C$200)

Special designed "Super-Drive" circuit, output impedance lowered to 200ohm (can drive any input from 600ohm up to infinity) with better bass control and punch , better definition and improved in overall tonal quality. By adding this upgrade, it sounds like the output with 10 times tubes being used. With this level of upgrade, just add $50 and you can have a headphone output with enough power and current to drive your headphone directly.
