This is one of our state-of-the-art hybrid power amplifiers that combines the advantage of transistors high current drive (tight bass and good speaker control) with single-ended vacuum tubes amplification (warm and sweet sound with good depth sound stage and air). The output stage is a voltage to current converter circuit without voltage gain, so the non-linear sound of transistors can be eliminated while preserving the high damping factor and high output current to control the speaker in a more effective way. The tube section is working in an optimized single-ended operation mode and we have designed a sophisticated tube auto biasing circuit that allows you to listen to your music without worrying about adjusting tube bias. The new Mk2 design has an over current protection circuit as well as enhanced dynamics.
If you are unaware this is a hybrid amplifier, we are confident that you will think this is a pure tube power amplifier.
We have included both RCA and XLR inputs along with high quality 5 way binding posts.

For further upgrades you can add any of our super rectifiers, including the STR-104, STR-1001, and STR-1002 without any modification required.
With this super rectifier adaptor, you can modify and enhance the sound to whatever you like, by using 300B, 2A3 , 45 , 50 , 80, 83, 1616 , 3B28 or 866A tubes.
