1W x 2  single-ended power amplifier (Headphone amp)

This is one of our top model single-ended power amplifier. Although it only has 1Wrms, it can drive a pair of speakers with 90db/W efficiency to a reasonable loudness level. It is also a very high quality headphone amplifier, super quiet, super warm and rich sounding, with good body and density. The output transformer uses a NOS UTC 2W wide band transformer 600:8ohm type.

The 3rd set of photos show the special version which employs a HPF (high pass filter) switch to select either full range or high frequencies. Additional pair of pre-amp outputs was added to make this amp a transformer output pre-amplifier. A pre-amp / power amp switch select between speaker output or pre-amp output. This option will cost an additional C$300.
